Let’s Be Joyful!!!

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

 1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
 2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
   come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
   It is he who made us, and we are his;
   we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
   and his courts with praise;
   give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
   his faithfulness continues through all generations.

This is why we should party.

Permalink It’s amazing how aggressive God’s love is for us.Sending Jesus to die to break covenant even when we were the ones to deserve the death to release us from that marriage. Jews were no longer bound to the covenant after Jesus’s death on the cross.But Jesus comes back to life, no longer obligated to the OLD covenant but he offers the covenant right BACK to the Jews!!! He didn’t look for people that will RECIPROCATE His love back to Him! That’s how much He loves us!
A reminder of the presence, force, and love of God.

God’s Will

What is God’s will for me?

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

I need more of all them, but especially verse 17:

Pray Continually.

Pray Without Ceasing.

Never Stop Praying.

How is this possible???

I must eat, sleep, play ball, chat, read, chill, clean, play video games, etc. etc.

But you can come to a place where “prayer continues to pray within me even when I am talking with others or concentrating on manual work. The prayer has become the active presence of God’s Spirit guiding me through life.” - Henri Nouwen

So then now it is possible that:

“…whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it ALL for the glory of God.”

Pray

Without

Ceasing.
